Hey friend! I’ve been praying over this for so long, and I finally feel ready to share the vision God is growing inside this little corner of the internet. If you’ve been around Paint & Purpose (or Imagine Nation Paint) for any length of time, you know my heart has always been to blend creativity, community, and Jesus in a way that feels real, safe, and inviting.
As I’ve been preparing for future Praise Painting nights in 2026… faith-based painting events for churches, women’s groups, Bible studies, and communities… the Lord has been tugging on my heart. What started as a simple idea to combine worship and creativity has turned into something deeper: a calling to create spaces where people can meet Jesus in unexpected, beautiful ways.

As the new year begins, I find myself embracing a tradition that has brought focus and intention to my journey: choosing a Word of the Year. This year, my word is Sacrifice—a powerful and challenging choice. It’s not an easy word, and it’s definitely not one to take lightly. But as I reflect on my life as a mompreneur, I see how necessary it is to lean into this word and what it represents.
Lisa Harper and Christine Caine: A Night That Changed Everything
In December, I had an unforgettable experience meeting two incredible women I’ve admired in ministry for years—Lisa Harper and Christine Caine. They came to a local church in Roanoke, VA, about an hour from me, and I knew I couldn’t miss it. Not only did I attend the event, but I also got a ticket for the pre-program Q&A session. It was worth every mile, every minute, and every bit of excitement leading up to it!
Jesus Music, Memories, and a Little Magic: Our First Concert with CAIN!
Back in August, I got to experience something truly special with my son, Cam—we went to his first concert! We headed over to Osborne Baptist Church in Eden, NC, for an unforgettable night of music, thanks to K-LOVE Radio. The headliners were CAIN, one of my all-time favorite groups, and it was such an incredible experience! It was the perfect opportunity for some Mama-and-Cam time, and it’s a memory I’ll treasure forever.
